The Roofing Project

Dunedin Roofing was selected to replace the aging roof at Dunedin’s Toitū Museum. This large project required new roofing and new box gutters, including ply substrate.

We completed this job under a tent and the museum remained open to the public for the duration of the project.

For such a large building there were undersized outlets, so these were all upgraded into larger proprietary Viking outlets including new overflows.

The Enviroclad was installed in continuous lengths which minimises joins. This is the benefit of Enviroclad being 3.6 wide and coming in 30 metre rolls.

Because the building is so hard to access we opted for Colorcote Magnaflow which is the marine grade system from Colorcote. This will ensure that this building will not need to be re-roofed for many years.
